Preparation of tissue and cell extracts; enzyme activity assays; quantification of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids; assessment of oxidative stress markers; blood biochemical analyses; leukocyte differential count; enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); fluorometric analysis; light microscopy; cultivation and isolation of microbial cultures; assessment of physiological and biochemical properties of microorganisms.
