Department’s Master’s Student Khrystyna Fediv Participated in the International Global BioImaging 2026 Conference in Germany

From October 26 to 29, 2026, Khrystyna Fediv, a Master’s student at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, visited the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany, to participate in the Global BioImaging Exchange of Experience 2026. This trip was made possible by a competitive travel grant awarded by EVOLVE and Euro-BioImaging.

This year’s meeting was especially meaningful as it marked the 10th anniversary of Global BioImaging. The main theme of the event was “Open access to imaging across the globe.” Participants from all over the world engaged in crucial discussions on how to make advanced imaging technologies accessible to everyone and shared valuable professional insights.

Beyond acquiring new knowledge and networking with top global experts, the conference inspired new professional projects and initiatives.

More details about the conference experience can be found in Khrystyna’s post on her LinkedIn page.
