Full title: “BOOSTSCIENCE – Boosting Education Quality and Entrepreneurial Mindsets for Natural Sciences in Ukraine”
The consortium unites 12 partners from Greece, Spain, and Ukraine, led by the Hellenic Open University (Patras, Greece).
The Carpathian National University team was represented by Professor Volodymyr Lushchak (project manager) from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Associate Professor Tetiana Solodzhuk (project administrative manager), and Professors Halyna Semchyshyn and Maria Bayliak.
Project goals:
• Modernize Master’s degree programs in Biology and Chemistry
• Develop an innovative interdisciplinary module using virtual labs and computer simulations
• Strengthen cooperation between universities and industry to enhance competitiveness and entrepreneurial skills of graduates
During the first online coordination meeting, excellently moderated by Dr. Magda Spella, partners introduced their teams and aligned on strategic implementation steps. This meeting marked an official start of a joint initiative focused on advancing natural sciences education in Ukraine.
A separate productive working meeting was held between Ukrainian partner universities to discuss internal coordination and plan joint steps in detail.
